What you will do in your working day

  • Stores kitting and delivery to the production line
  • Printing of picking lists
  • Booking of jobs onto the MRP system (IFS)
  • Receiving goods inwards, unpacking, and putting away
  • Issuing of shortages
  • Using a forklift to receive and put away deliveries
  • Assisting with regular stock-taking as required
  • Red ticket/returns processing
  • Participate in training sessions and assessments as part of the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 qualification

The training you will be getting

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Level 2 Training Details:

The apprentice will undergo training in-house using an online platform. The training will be conducted for a minimum of 6 hours per week. The training will take place during working hours.

It will be integrated into the apprentice’s regular work schedule.

Qualifications:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will achieve a Level 2 qualification in Supply Chain Warehouse Operations. This certification will demonstrate their proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage warehouse operations within the supply chain.

Things to consider

We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude towards learning and developing new skills, ideally with an understanding of basic safety practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. We will work with apprentices without English or Maths at Level 2 to help them achieve Functional Skills in both before taking the End Point Assessment. It would also be advantageous to hold a relevant science or engineering based qualification.
