What you will do in your working day

The Apprentice Business Coordinator (Health & Safety) will work as part of the Health & Safety team supporting administrative services. This is a varied & interesting role and the post holder will complete a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship. The knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the role will be developed over the duration of the apprenticeship.

You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, support with data input and help the team to prepare and send out communications. Overall, this role will help us to achieve our aim of promoting and monitoring health, safety and welfare throughout our group.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to);

  •  To be the first point of call for enquiries whether via telephone or email.
  • Maintaining department databases and systems including inputting of data and information reports.
  • To develop a good knowledge of Health & Safety Policies and Procedures to support the managers.
  • To produce emails, letters and correspondence as requested from management, including internal and external communications.
  • Support the department with general office duties such as scanning, filing, printing etc.
  • To carry out other duties as reasonably requested by the Management team.
  • To promote health, safety, and welfare throughout the group.

The training you will be getting

  • You will be working to the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship qualification.
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
  • All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours.
  • Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
