About the employer

True North moved to Sheffield in August 2023, and what a 6 months it’s been. Prime location for everything mountain bike, gravel bike and road bike, being based at the foothills of Wharncliffe and Grenoside Woods. We are a rider owned and run bike shop, and simply put, we just love bikes. Over the last few years, we’ve built up a solid reputation for quality repairs and servicing on all bikes, but also as an electric bike specialist. We are certified repair centres for Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano, Mahle and a premium partner for Fazua. We adopt the attitude that every customer deserves good quality service, and our time and effort to make sure every problem can be fixed (regardless how complicated), and we’ve been rewarded with repeat custom and a busy and growing workshop in one of the busiest mountain bike meccas in Yorkshire. We stock quality bike brands from Yeti, Mondraker, Pivot, Focus, Merida, GT and Haibike, which have been picked based on a rider's perspective on how they perform but also the range that they provide to suit all customers. We also stock a great range of parts and accessories from Fox, Ohilins, Burgtec, Peatys, Michelin, Vittoria, Madison, Royal and Sweet Protection (to name a few) again, even P&A is selected for brands we believe in. We’ve recently expanded our business and have a secondary arm based in Hope Valley for ebike hire with a huge fleet of Mondraker ebikes for people to hire. In addition, we have qualified guides and skills instructors. Our adventure hub is based behind a new outdoor hotel called Bike & Boot, and people can simply hire bikes for the day or hire a bike and guide and enjoy a great day out in the Peaks. Our Cycle and Adventure Hubs have an amazing atmosphere, we love bikes and we love nothing more than the relaxed yet busy shop we’ve become. We’re super proud of the vibe and customer base we’ve created.
