We have a vacancy for an Print Apprentice based at our Howden site. You will be a key part of the team, learning and developing your print skills from our best and most experienced skilled team members.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- You will undertake weekly learning directed by BPIF Training alongside daily hands on training.
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the qualification obtained will be a Level 3 Print Technician Apprenticeship standard.
- The apprentice will be given sufficient time to undertake their "off-the-job" requirement of the apprenticeship during their working hours.
- Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by both Image Digital Print and the BPIF. You will be assigned a training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available. Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit your individual needs and business needs. Most training and studying will be a combination of site-based and remote delivery.
- You will have a strong core knowledge covering print, paper science, pre & post press.

- Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Print Technician apprenticeship, you will become a full time print operator who can run different printing equipment models/specifications specialising in colour management.
