Ideally we are looking for someone to join our team who has previously worked in a busy office environment as an Administrator or worked in Data Entry.

What you will do in your working day

The successful candidate will have previous experience of business administration and an engineering or compliance background would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate.

On a typical day you will be responsible for:

  • Typing up and producing Engineers reports
  • Data inputting of timesheets onto the system
  • Answering the phone and dealing with any queries from engineers
  • Dealing with PAT testing certificates
  • Booking hotels and Airbnb accommodation
  • Photocopying and any other duties as and when required
  • As you will be producing reports good attention to detail is required

STANDARD & LEVEL The successful candidate will work towards completing the Level 3 Business Administration Standard from the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education.

Your B&FC apprenticeship is made up of several different elements and each one reflects your individual abilities and career goals. Our expert tutors and assessors have relevant industry experience and will support you to achieve all your goals. Off-the-job training Developing your skills at work is called on-the-job training, 20% of your apprenticeship (equal to one full day a week) will be ‘off-the-job’. This might include attending College, tackling projects, online learning, coaching, shadowing, or training for your job. Stacks of support Assessment mostly takes place in the workplace. When you start, you will be allocated a skills coach.

Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
