What you will do in your working day

Tasks include will include:

  • Create coordinated 3D MEP models and installation drawings using Revit from consultants design at various stages
  • Produce fabrication level detail manufacturing drawings for many of our market leading clients with offsite manufacturing facilities
  • Use digital platforms such as Navisworks, Revizto, Dalux, RECAP and many others to manage model production and clash and issue resolution
  • Work with point cloud models produced by external sources or our in-house team of surveyors
  • Learn how to input asset data into models for COBie and FM using various tools and add ons
  • Shadow experienced team leaders in meetings with main contractors, architects and consultants to learn the process of coordination problem solving and design development

The training you will be getting

  • Building Services Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Building Services Engineering
  • The course will be run by Leeds College of Building College one day per week starting September 2023
  • When not at college you will be working full time in our Leeds office

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Once you have completed a Level 3 apprenticeship you have the potential to progress within the company and may be offered the opportunity to embark on Level 4 or 5 apprenticeships
