Arboricultural Association approved contractor established 20 years with pro-active team to get the best out of our arborists. Looking for a motivated learner to expand our team and be a part of the next generation of arborists. We undertake a variety of work from private, local authority, colleges, estates.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Qualifications achieved:
● Level 2 award in felling and processing trees up to 380mm
● Level 2 award in accessing a tree using a rope and harness
● Level 3 award in aerial tree rescue operations
● Level 3 award in aerial cutting of trees using free fall techniques
● Level 2 award in safe use of mobile elevated work platform
● Level 3 award in use of a chainsaw from a Mobile Elevated Work
Platform (MEWP)
● Level 2 award in emergency first aid at work
● Level 2 award in safe use of brushwood chipper
● Traffic Management (NRSWA Unit 002 Signing, Lighting and
Guarding) OR Sector Scheme 12D
● Level 2 award in chainsaw maintenance
● Level 2 award in cross cutting timber using a chainsaw

Working in all weathers Although we use mechanical aids the job is physical This is a team job and candidate must be able to put the team first. Due to working on sensitive sites a criminal records check will be required. A non-disclosure agreement will need to be agreed to protect our client interests.
