What you will do in your working day

  • Reception / Clerical Work – booking and managing appointments, answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
  • Pre-screening patients – Carrying out pre-examinations prior to a sight test using automated state of the art medical equipment
  • Dispensing Glasses – The fitting and measuring of spectacles with patients, and offering quality style advise
  • Reviewing and ensuring patient’s orders are accurate and delivered on time

The training you will be getting

Business Administrator

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Underpinning skills, knowledge and behaviours

The training provider for this Apprenticeship will be City of Bristol College who will support you in working towards achieving your qualification.
