About the employer

The Huntspill Primary Academies are a family of 2 schools, West Huntspill Primary Academy and East Huntspill Primary Academy and 2 Little Learner Pre schools. Our schools have played an important part in our villages for over one hundred years with both schools celebrating their centenaries in 1994 and 1997. Both schools caters for pupils aged between 2 to 11 years old, with each of our schools having a Little Learners Pre School on site for our younger children and our Primary Schools cater for Reception to Year 6 pupils. As well as the playground, we are also fortunate to have pleasant garden areas, which accommodates 'forest school' and 'gardening club' as well as a quiet area, complete with benches where children can eat lunch on sunny days. Our schools are a community in which children are happy and make friends easily. We are very much at the heart of the village and seek opportunities to further develop links with the community.
