About the employer

Home from Home Kindergarten first started in 1995 when Liz Curtis began caring for children at Lyme Avenue after being a childminder and caring for her own children since 1982. In 1998 Liz's husband Mark joined Home from Home to help with the managerial work. The business soon grew and the nursery expanded to new premises at Northchurch Cricket Pavilion. The nursery now has 10 staff caring for more than 80 families. Since opening, the Kindergarten has still maintained it's small family friendly approach caring for children from around 9 months to school entry age. We pride ourselves that many of our children come from the village and many go to the local schools. Continuing the family friendly approach Louise our daughter is now the Manager at the Cricket Pavilion, supported be our Son Simon.
