Summary
The Level 2 Diploma in Professional Hairdressing has been designed by employers for learners wishing to work as a hairdresser. You will be employed within a salon environment and develop skills and knowledge to support your learning journey and build confidence and competence to ensure a quality learning experience.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Hair Professional Level 2 Diploma
- 1 day a week at Mode Training
- 20% off the job training in a hairdressing salon
- Minimum 30 hours employed in a hairdressing salon
- Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

Simon Alexander was established in 1995 and as such has been at the forefront of the hairdressing industry in the North West for over 17 years. After a year of opening, the business won the North West Livewire Business Awards. Seven years later founder, Simon Alexander was doing celebrity hair makeovers on the Afternoon Show on ITV. The salon, Senior Stylists and Simon Alexander continue to win styling competitions both locally and nationally round the UK.
