What you will do in your working day

Working as a team to maintain a large variety of sites, the likes of
large domestic gardens, 10 schools, factories, sheltered accommodation, nursing homes, communal gardens of flats and
housing estates. You will be:

  • mowing,
  • hedge trimming,
  • maintaining borders, clearing leaves, litter picking, athletic and
    football pitch marking.

The training you will be getting

Upon completion of all elements of your Apprenticeship you will
be awarded a Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Horticulture
(Horticulture/Landscape operative). In addition, you will achieve:

  • Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work;
  • The Safe Use of Pesticides (PA1) and Safe Use of Abrasive Wheels (Landscape option)

  • Full-time employment.
