What you will do in your working day

Role and responsibilities:

  • Answer the phone in a professional manner and direct calls accordingly
  • Meet and greet visitors to head office, following the appropriate signing in process
  • Use of TEAMs video calling, as required 
  • Use of Microsoft packages to undertake administrative tasks (i.e. basic Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as use of the in-house IT systems
  • To upload electronic data in an efficient and organised manner, and archive records as required
  • To order stationary and disposable goods for Head Office
  • To distribute post and manage outgoing mail in a timely manner
  • To administer the organisation of bookings, events, travel, meetings
  • To support administrative projects across Head Office, as required
  • To undertake other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as required

The training you will be getting

The training is workplace training (one day per week) offered by an approved provider: 

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Standard - Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT, if required (exemptions apply)
