What you will do in your working day

  • Sales & Purchase Ledger
  • Weekly & monthly accounting, including the journals and reconciliations
  • Assisting with the processing and payment of invoices as required
  • Weekly bank reconciliation
  • Assisting with Credit control/chasing payments
  • Management accountancy
  • Filing and other ad hoc duties including photocopying, filing, updating and retrieval of records

  • Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship standard
  • Level 2 AAT Foundation certificate

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • This is a permanent role, which after successfully passing of the apprenticeship will be offered an Assistant Accountant role
  • There is scope to progress onto the next level qualification on successful passing of the level 2
