The apprentice will be involved with the control and compliance of product within the Quality Control inspection department, in accordance with current manufacturing and Quality assurance procedures, engineering drawing and customer requirements. They will be involved in applying the content of the company to product verification.

£14,703 a year

Training course
Engineering technician (level 3)
Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm with a 30 minute break. Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • The Apprentice will be working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) - Technical Support Technician Pathway
  • This is a 4-year apprenticeship with college attendance required twice per week in year 1 and once per week in years 2-4, at Colchester campus
  • Or 3-year apprenticeship with college attendance required 5 days per week for 6 months, then once a week for the remainder, at Colchester campus
