We will provide you with on the job training and qualifications working in partnership with Hit Training. You will deliver high standards of learning & care for children aged 1-5 years and also ensure a safe environment for them to thrive.

What you will do in your working day

Your day to day role will include the following:

  • Completing children’s documentation
  • Planning activities
  • Liaising with parents
  • Cooking and serving food
  • Contributing to the provision’s evaluation (Ofsted SEF)
  • Changing nappies
  • Communicating with parents 
  • Taking children on planned outings with childminder and ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing while on outings
  • Completing risk assessments as required to maintain a safe environment
  • Contributing to the policies and procedures of the setting 

The training you will be getting

  • Early Years Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship standard qualification
  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • Training method and location to be confirmed

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Progression onto Level 3 Early Years Educator.

About the employer

We are a small purpose built childminding setting caring for up to 12 children per day aged between 1 & 4 years old in the Worksop area. We are an outstanding setting offering outstanding childcare, open Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Roselodge will provide you with on the job training and qualifications, giving you the ability to be a permanent member of our team.
