Rory Antonia, are looking to recruit a Hair Professional Apprentice for their busy village salon, the apprentice will carry out various hairdressing tasks within the salon. The apprentice will be employed for 30 hours a week by the salon and will be supported by Wow Hair Academy with training to gain their L2 Hair Professional qualification.

What you will do in your working day

The Hairdressing Apprentice will carry out some of the following duties;

  • Supporting the client journey experience
  • Shampooing
  • Supporting stylists
  • Blow drying
  • General housekeeping
  • Attend training
  • Support with front of house greeting clients

The training you will be getting

Training will be one day a week with Wow Hair Academy, this will take place in the workplace and at the academy on alternative weeks, where you will undertake training for the following units in the qualification

  • Cross knowledge
  • Client consultation
  • Shampoo, condition and treat the hair
  • Style & finish
  • Colouring hair
  • Cutting hair
  • One optional unit to choose
  • EPA
  • FS in English and maths (if required)

Upon completion of the above you will gain your qualification in Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals in Hairdressing.
