What you will do in your working day

  •  Assist in daily office operations
  • Assist in managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  •  Maintain and organise office files, documents, and records
  • Support the HR team in recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and corresponding with candidates
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of documentation and orientation materials
  •  Ensuring data accuracy in HR systems
  • Support the organisation of travel for PMC employees
  •  Respond to general employee queries via email and in person
  •  Contribute to the organization of employee engagement activities and events

The training you will be getting

  • Business administrator Level 3 qualification (A level)
  • Typical duration: 18 months
  • Dedicated Performace coach for the duration of the course
  • Functional Skills Maths and English, if required
  • Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There will be a full time position at the end of the apprenticeship. We want someone to join PMC and kickstart their career, there may be flexibility around which department at PMC the full time position would be available, for example, HR, Finance or Office Management.

Things to consider

Own transport would be ideal. Public transport is available, but bus stop is in Abingdon Town Centre and is around 10 minute walk to the business park.
