What you will do in your working day

This role is for a SEPTEMBER 2024 START.

The training you will be getting

A final End Point Assessment will be taken consisting of a practical workplace observation and a professional discussion, on completion of this the Full Standard will be awarded. You will also receive the Level 3 Diploma In Supporting Teaching And Learning.

You will receive regular workplace assessments from industry specialists who will assess competency. You will be required to submit assignments to demonstrate your knowledge in addition to creating a portfolio of evidence. 20% of the training will be delivered off the job and this can include: Online learning or training from employers, shadowing, mentoring, and support in writing assignments.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • You can either progress to a L5 HLTA or choose to pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant at L3. There is further potential to pursue other careers in Education
