What you will do in your working day

  • The first year of this apprenticeship will be based at IPS International, Medway City Estate, ME2 4DU with occasional visits to our Aylesford site, ME20 7PJ. You will receive £14,000 per annum in the first year with regular salary reviews during your training period.
  • You will engage with a tailored training program to enhance your technical skills and deepen your knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • You will ensure that all elements of Health, Safety and Environment procedures are adhered to
  • During years 2 - 4, you will be working alongside our engineering team to enhance your skills
  • There will be the opportunity to study for further qualifications such as an HNC. 

The training you will be getting

At the end of the initial apprenticeship, you will gain a maintenance and operations engineering technician, Level: 3 apprenticeship including a BTEC.
