Doggy Day Care and boarding facility is looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join their team. The ideal role for someone looking to start their career in animal care!

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

You will be working towards the Level 2 Animal Care and Welfare apprenticeship. 

You will also work towards your Functional Skills in maths and/ or English at level 1 or 2 if required.

All training provided by the employer and Haddon Training at the employers premises.

Other requirements

This role will require being outdoors in all weathers, so any applicant must be okay with that. It will also require working with all breeds of dogs, so any applicant must be comfortable interacting with any size or breed.

Here at Dougal’s Doggy Digs we are a rated and licensed dog boarding & day-care facility by Cheshire East Borough Council in accordance with the animal welfare act 2018. We have over 30 years experience with all sorts of dogs, and have rescued and rehomed many dogs. Working from home there is someone here 24/7 so dogs are never left and are out exercising many times throughout the day.
