What you will do in your working day

  • Your duties will include but not limited to:

    To conduct research into and provide summary reports on specified markets, technologies & customers, utilising a range of data sources, e.g. internet, customer questionnaires & trade publications, in support of the Commercial team’s objectives.
  • To provide a sales analysis service to the Commercial team.
  • Utilising data from our enterprise systems to provide regular monthly reports and satisfy ad-hoc requests. Data may be required in tabular, chart or other presentation formats.
  • To pro-actively monitor sales data identifying trends, patterns & anomalies.
  • To support the monthly forecasting process by analysing & assessing forecast data and identifying potential issues.
  • To generate Power Bi reports.
  • To have customer interaction after initial period of training.
  • Other ad-hoc Commercial support duties, as required.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship qualification.
  • Training schedule and location have yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Initially you will complete a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship to develop your analytical and reporting skills. After successful completion you will progress to a suitable business-related Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA or similar).
