What you will do in your working day

We now have an exciting opportunity for candidates with a genuine passion for marketing to join our innovative team as a Marketing, Communications and Events Assistant.

Our team thrives on creativity and innovation, and we want to appoint someone who can bring fresh ideas and dedication to our marketing strategies. A genuine interest in developing professionally within the marketing field is essential.

  • You will work collaboratively with our team to plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.
  • You will also experience all areas of marketing, from video content creation using industry standard equipment, to planning and leading on events at our campuses.
  • You will undertake team-building and external challenges, such as first-aid courses, expeditions, attend expo’s and have the opportunity to mentor your own student.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and positive individuals with the ability to inspire, ensuring our marketing efforts are engaging and impactful.

The training you will be getting

  • This role is part of the Activate Pioneers programme and includes the Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship qualification, providing a strong foundation for your future career in marketing.
  • There is an expectation to travel to Reading Campus once weekly for in-person learning.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • After completing this apprenticeship candidates will have a strong foundation for a future career in marketing, with the basis to begin specialising in communications or events.
