What you will do in your working day

  •  Meeting Coordination:

Schedule and coordinate meetings, including sending out invitations and preparing meeting materials.

Assist in the preparation of agendas and take minutes during meetings as required.

  • Calendar Management:

Manage the recruitment and admissions calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met, and team members are reminded in advance.

Coordinate with team members to schedule interviews, trainings and other events.

  • Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support to the department, including assisting in maintaining accurate records and databases related to admissions and visas processes.

  • Presentation Preparation:

Work closely with managers to create visually appealing and informative presentations.

Assist in gathering data, conducting research, and formatting presentation slides.

  • Stakeholder Liaison:

Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Communicate effectively and professionally via email, phone, and in-person meetings.

  • Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for streamlining administrative processes within the department and propose innovative solutions.

Collaborate with team members to implement improvements and ensure efficient operations.

  • Data Analysis:

Assist in gathering and analysing relevant data related to admissions and visa processes.

Summarise findings and key insights to support decision-making within the department.

Work closely with team members to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.

The training you will be getting

The successful candidate will complete a Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship standard: -

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Standard qualification
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths – if applicable
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English – if applicable

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Excellent progression available within the company. The successful applicant will undertake more responsibilities as the apprenticeship develops with a strong view to securing permanent employment on completion.
