What you will do in your working day

To ensure that the Apprenticeships Service is of a high quality and fully meets the needs of the customers. 
To organise and plan apprenticeship inductions to meet ESFA compliance in accordance with the funding  
To develop and maintain a high degree of understanding of the Apprenticeship Standards and End Point Assessment Organisations 
To ensure that apprenticeship sign-up paperwork is processed correctly and safely stored digitally. 
To work alongside the administration team and support the Recruitment & Compliance Officers in developing and maintaining high levels of data accuracy, customer service and responsiveness through all aspects of Apprenticeship programme.

To develop and maintain a high degree of understanding of the Apprentice funding methodology to contribute to constantly improving individual and team performance. 
To develop and enhance skills and knowledge of the apprenticeship tracking and management system (OneFile & Maytas) and other associated software applications to deliver a consistently high level of data accuracy/validity (end point assessment organisations (EPAO), Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) 
To provide administrative support to the Data & Compliance Manager, Apprenticeship Managers and Director of Apprenticeships. 
To ensure that College standards are worked to and maintained. 
Ensure continuous development and improvement of personal professional knowledge. 
Any other duties of a similar level of responsibility may be required. 

The training you will be getting

L3 Business Admin qualification, knowledge of the industry, and the opportunity to progress to a permanent position within the company. 

Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment.

The apprentice will carry out their training in the workplace and will have a 'work-based tutor' from Hopwood Hall College who will support them through their apprenticeship.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The successful applicant will work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. This may lead to a permanent position and progression within the company.

Things to consider

This role will require having an enhanced DBS Check carried out. Although this role is predominantly based at our Middleton Campus the post holder may be required to work at any location of the College now or in the future in the evenings and at weekends.
