We are looking for someone who is confident and reliable to join our busy transport office on a Customer Service Apprentice. If you have a Good geographical knowledge of the UK that would be really useful in this role as you will be speaking to customers and arranging deliveries for them.

What you will do in your working day

  • Working within the transport department of a growing same day delivery transport company
  • Taking care of administrative tasks such as filing, printing, writing letters and corresponding with emails
  • Processing of proof of deliveries from drivers
  • Quotations to customers via email and telephone calls
  • Answering the phone and booking in same day delivery jobs from customers
  • Allocating jobs to drivers
  • Dealing with customer and driver queries
  • Building a good rapport with customers and drivers and providing the accounting team and transport department with relevant information they need
  • Keeping and maintaining accurate and organised records

The training you will be getting

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Functional Skills English and maths to level 2 if required
