What you will do in your working day


  • Greeting and welcoming clients, visitors, and callers in a warm and professional manner. 
  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual. 
  • Providing accurate and helpful information to callers and visitors regarding our agency's services, policies and procedures. 
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining the agency's calendar. 
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing and preparing outgoing mail. 
  • Maintaining and updating client records and contact information in the data base. 
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and data entry. 
  • Ensuring the reception area is clean, organised, and presentable at all times. 
  • Notifying the appropriate staff members of any urgent or important messages or requests. 
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations of the agency. 

Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability. You’ll receive support from Hope Superjobs Ltd and Boom Training.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Business
  • You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training
  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks
  • End Point Assessment (online)
  • Occasional group classes with other learners
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in maths & English if required
  • Level 3 Business Administrator Certificate from IFATE and City & Guilds
