    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Our core working hours are Monday to Friday between 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in every three Saturdays between 7:30 am and 12:30 pm.

    (the hours are based on the candidate being over 18)

What you will do in your working day

You will be selling our products on the trade counter in our busy builders’ merchants, building customer relationships and learning along the way. 

  • Building long-term relationships with clients
  • Determining customer requirements 
  • Processing orders 
  • Promoting products and services 

The training you will be getting

Your training will be delivered virtually with an observational end-point assessment. 

The qualifications you will receive are: 

  • Apprenticeship award certificate in Trade Supplier Standard (Level 3)
  • Functional skills (Maths & English) if required
  • Employment rights and responsibilities 
  • On-the-job training
