What you will do in your working day

  • To provide high-quality and efficient administrative support as required.
  • Provide general administration support to the team and the firm including:  Photocopying, scanning, binding and document management; Post/courier receipt and delivery (internal and external); Court deliveries; Assisting the Facilities Coordinator with stationery stock control and ordering of consumables; Assisting departments and fee earners as required
  • Support the Client Experience Team (as required) in creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors to the firm in a timely, professional, courteous and helpful manner: ensuring meeting rooms are maintained to high standards; preparing and clearing down meeting rooms before and after meetings: ensuring that stationery and refreshments are regularly replenished and liaise with the Facilities Coordinator in relation to the ordering of consumables
  • Supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and interacting with internal or external stakeholders
  • Contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested
  • Comply with GDPR and maintain client and visitor confidentiality at all times

The training you will be getting

You will work towards the level 3 Business Administrator standard with Gateshead College. Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Once the apprenticeship has been completed, there would be opportunities to progress to full-time employment within the business. There may also be opportunities to progress with your studies with the support of the business.
