What you will do in your working day

  • Produce CAD models and engineering drawings
  • Design, identify and analyse design options and selecting the appropriate design
  • Communicate design information to internal and external parties

  • Design and Draughting skills, knowledge & behaviours - delivered in the workplace
  • Level 3 BTEC in construction and the built Environment - Day release or remote delivery
  • End Point Assesment - knowledge test, practical test and presentation/interview
