What you will do in your working day

Main Duties to Include:

  • Take telephone calls, manning switchboard.
  • Handle any queries with regard to orders, deliveries and arrangement of installations.
  • Advise customer where necessary on availability and timescales.
  • Fax/e-mail / post quotes to customers.
  • Produce and maintain Customer Files
  • Maintain a record of all orders placed to ensure delivery and installation are to timescales specified by customer.
  • Track and maintain delivery progress from suppliers.
  • Receive and check delivery of goods from suppliers.
  • Filing and maintaining records as required.

Once qualfiied, progression is offered to the correct candidate. Previous Apprentices have now moved into more senior roles, as this company believes in growing their business by promoting internally.
