What you will do in your working day

As part of this role, you will complete the following duties:

1. Client Interaction:
Assist in communicating with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide suitable insurance solutions.

2. Policy Management:
Help in managing insurance policies, including renewals, amendments, and cancellations.

3. Risk Assessment:
Learn to assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.

4. Quote Generation:
Support in preparing and delivering insurance quotes to clients.

5. Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify the best insurance products and providers for clients.

6. Administrative Support:
Provide administrative assistance, including maintaining client records and processing paperwork.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all insurance dealings.

8. Claims Handling:
Assist clients with insurance claims, including filing, follow-up, and resolution.

9. Sales Support:
Support the sales team by generating leads and preparing presentations for potential clients.

10. Professional Development:
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance industry knowledge and broker skills.

Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of successful Insurance Practitioners
