What you will do in your working day

  • Assembly and manufacture of specified equipment
  • Plastic welding
  • Minor electrical and plumbing / pipework
  • Mechanical assembly
  • Dispatching and receiving goods
  • Ensuring all health and safety is adhered to at all times
  • Ensuring that products are dispatched according to the schedule set by the Commercial Director
  • Ensuring that all products are manufactured to the correct specification and in the correct
    timescale
  • Ensuring all processes and ISO quality is adhered to at all times
  • General housekeeping maintained
  • CNC programming and operation

The training you will be getting

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be
expected to work towards the Engineering Operative Level 2, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.
