What you will do in your working day

We are seeking an Insurance Practitioner Apprentice to join our fast-paced insurance brokerage. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team and help ensure the efficient operation of the business.


  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
  • Assist in the maintenance of customer records and databases
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls, emails and post
  • Process customer payments and reconcile accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of customer quotations and policy documentation
  • Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotations and documentation
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required


  • GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C (4) or above
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
