What you will do in your working day

We are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in early years education, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will:

  • Plan and deliver a range of activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for the children.
  • Foster children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through engaging and creative play.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing these with parents and caregivers.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery/preschool.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Attend training sessions and complete and achieve the Level 3 qualification.

The training you will be getting

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Level 3 Ealy Years Educator Apprenticeship 

For the early years educator, the qualification required is:

Paediatric First Aid or Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Functional Skills English and Maths if required

Things to consider

Working hours Please note that anyone under the age of 18 can only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours should be amended accordingly, to fall in line with the legislation.
