Summary

A varied apprenticeship learning all aspects of the processes of manufacturing circuit boards, as well as gaining an understanding of the business as a whole.

• Annual wage: £12,480 to £22,308 a year

  The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

You will attend Exeter College 2 days a week during term time.

You will work towards:

• Level 2 Diploma in engineering operations (skills)
• Level 2 Certificate or Diploma in engineering operations (knowledge)
• Functional skills if needed

Upon successful completion of the Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for you to progress onto the Level 3, or become a full-time staff member.
