What you will do in your working day

  • General maintenance
  • Managing breakdowns on site and finding faults
  • Adding new systems on site for better productivity
  • Running mechanical tests​
  • Health and safety checks which include risk assessments and fire alarm tests​
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring safety comes before anything else

  • Functional skills if required
  • Apprentice will have day release for College ​

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • After successful completion of apprenticeship, you will be given the opportunity to move into a full-time position as a Fitter
