What you will do in your working day

You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the claims team. Tasks will vary; however, they will be set to help you develop an understanding of the business and the industry. You will be involved in general administrative and support duties leading to managing a portfolio of claims, dealing with internal stakeholders, external clients and suppliers. You will be given the opportunity to participate in group projects.

Time and support will be given to candidates to pursue internal training and external training (Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Course).

The training you will be getting

  • Throughout the programme, the apprentice will be based within the Claims department and receive on-the-job guidance and support from qualified professionals whilst studying for their Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification.
  • The goal of the programme is to give newcomers a successful start into the dynamic and demanding world of insurance and reinsurance.
  • CILA Certificate in Insurance Level 3

  • CII Certificate in Insurance Level 3

  • CII Certificate in London markets insurance Level 3

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • At the end of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunity to stay on and work towards the next level or opportunity to look at different areas in the business
