What you will do in your working day

As an HR Admin apprentice, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department within our organization.

  • Posting job vacancies across various platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, totaljobs and social media
  • Screening candidates based on the specified criteria
  • Scheduling interviews and coordinating communication with candidates
  • Networking with various institutions, and colleges, and participating in job fairs
  • Administer all new starter paperwork e.g. pre-employment checks, references, and applying for DBS checks
  • Preparing necessary paperwork for new hires
  • Coordinating and scheduling online training and induction sessions
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee records
  • Adhering to data protection regulations to maintain compliance
  • Auditing files every month and updating the system and spreadsheet
  • Sending birthday wishes and cards to all the employees and keep engaging with the employees

Key measures & targets:

  • Following all HR procedures and carrying out duties as directed by your line manager

The training you will be getting

Business Administrator Apprenticeship, to include:

  • Level 3 Diploma for Business Administrator
  • Level 2 Knowledge Component
  • Functional Skills in maths and English (as required)
