What you will do in your working day

Yume Wandsworth Nursery & Preschool is a warm and welcoming nursery dedicated to providing high-quality early years education. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentices to join our team and help nurture the growth and development of our children.

As a Nursery Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced staff to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to start their career in childcare and gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.


  • Assist in the day-to-day care of children aged 0-5 years

You must have a genuine interest in working with young children. Good communication and teamwork skills are vital for the success of this role. You must have willingness to learn and undertake training .We are looking for reliable and punctual applicants for this role.

The training you will be getting

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Level 3 Ealy Years Educator Apprenticeship qualification

Things to consider

Working hours Please note that anyone under the age of 18 can only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours should be amended accordingly, to fall in line with the legislation.
