Summary

How would you like to be at the forefront of technical design with TE Connectors? If you have a passion for design, problem solving and creating technical drawings, this is the apprenticeship for you. You will be working with 2D/3D CAD packages generating production drawings, product specifications and testing requirements.

£18,000 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved the following qualifications: 

  • ST0164 Engineering Design and Draughtsperson Level 3
  • L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)

The final apprenticeship completion certificate will be issued on achievement of the above qualification and successful completion of end point assessment.

Other requirements

As with all apprenticeships, this requires a longterm commitment – there will be assignments and log book entries to complete. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top company, whilst you work towards nationally recognised qualifications. You will be committed and motivated to complete college work and other assignments. Enthusiastic, ability to see projects through to completion, strong interest in science and technology, interest in how things work or are manufactured.
