What you will do in your working day

Key responsibilities:

  • Digital printing and vinyl cutting
  • Print finishing (lamination and aplimask)
  • Installation of vinyl to boards, walls, windows or vehicles
  • Using manufacturing equipment such as large format printing equipment and CNC routers
  • Taking delivery of goods and raw materials, and storing appropriately
  • Installation of physical signage on site to buildings
  • Working at height
  • Use of specialist power tools to manufacture and install signage

The training you will be getting

  • Signage Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • Weekly Virtual Sessions with an expert Vocational Coach
  • Functional skills in maths and English (if required)

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There is a potential full time position offered to the right candidate, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Things to consider

This is a physical role which requires standing for long periods of time, and also a lot of lifting. It also includes working outside in all weathers at times.
