What you will do in your working day

  • Prepare statutory year accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Bookkeeping using cloud accounting software
  • Preparation of management accounts and information
  • Prepare personal tax returns
  • Process and submit VAT returns

The training you will be getting

Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Level 3.

You will be studying the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. This level will encourage you to master more complex accounting principles in both Bookkeeping and Management Accounting. You will study 5 units:

  • Financial Accounting; Preparing Financial Statements (FAPS)
  • Management Accounting Techniques (MATS)
  • Tax Processes for Business (TPFB)
  • Business Awareness (BUAW)
  • Advanced Synoptic Assessment (ADSY) which forms part of your End Point Assessment

Training will be provided by attending either face-to-face classroom based lessons or Live Online sessions.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Once AAT level 3 is completed there are opportunities to progress to level 4 and level 7 apprenticeships. We currently have 5 team members working towards their ACCA qualification.

After this there are senior and managment role opportunites within Styles & Co but also across the wider Xeinadin Group that we are a part of.
