What you will do in your working day

  • Check email box regularly throughout each day, responding to emails and filing as appropriate. Bring any important emails to the attention of Registered manager and/or the operations manager.
  • Respond and monitor/manage the company email box - maintain appropriate 'soft' filing system for incoming emails, document templates and standard documents etc, to ensure availability for all the office-based staff
  • Access, bid on and process tenders for new care packages via an online portal
  • Order stationery and PPE as required. Update PPE log as appropriate
  • Plan and create rotas for care staff and service users (SU) and produce on-call reports for the management. Monitor staff attendance at calls via Whats App Group. Chek staff whereabouts when they have not signed in at calls
  • Update capacity tracker
  • Complete Mar charts and distribute them to service users.
  • Collect paperwork from client homes (log sheets, Mar charts, body maps etc)

The training you will be getting

  • A 12 month apprenticeship course with 3 month gateway to the End Point Assesment
  • Working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • All study will be based in the workplace
  • 20% off the job training time will be allocated every week. Blended learning with online lessons and support from your assigned skills tutor

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • A permanent position may be available if the apprenticeship is successfully completed
