What you will do in your working day

• Learn and Assist: Actively learn from and assist experienced chefs in daily kitchen operations.

• Food Production: Produce food meeting set standards with a focus on minimising wastage.

• Maintain Hygiene Standards: Follow guidance to maintain high standards of personal, food, and kitchen hygiene.

• Support Compliance: Help ensure adherence to procedures, menu specifications, and recipes under supervision.

• Assist with Special Dietary Needs: Aid in the preparation of dishes that meet special dietary and allergenic requirements.

• Document Production: Assist in following and completing production schedules, and help maintain legislative and quality standard documentation.

• Operate Equipment Safely: Learn to use specialist kitchen equipment safely and effectively.

• Develop Communication Skills: Build skills in communicating clearly with team members and customers.

• Engage in Development Activities: Participate in personal development activities and seek opportunities to learn new culinary skills.
