What you will do in your working day

In the main you’ll be supporting senior employees with administrative tasks covering finance brokerage deals

  • Your first 12 months will be a steep learning curve, but you’ll have all the support and training you could hope for. This is an amazing opportunity to really advance your learning and become a key player in the company’s continued success.
  • Ideally, you’ll be strong numerically and have an interest in finance, with a view to pursuing a long-term career in this field.
  • You’ll also have great interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Furthermore, you’ll need to be computer literate and have experience in using MS Office.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships will come naturally to you, which in turn will mean you’ll have the respect and confidence from your clients and peers.
  • Answering the telephone, admin support, computer input, call existing customers and CRM Management

The training you will be getting

Duration:

  • 15 months practical training period, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment

Delivery model:

  • Work-based training with your employer
  • 10 days professional training at college
  • Approximately 12 on-site or/and Teams assessment visits per year
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (7 days at college for each, if required)
  • Off the job training will count for at least 6 hours a week of an apprentice’s time at work

Qualifications included:

  • Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification

End Point Assessment:

  • Knowledge test
  • Portfolio based interview
  • Project/improvement presentation

Entry criteria

Applicants are likely to have 4 GCSEs A*- C / 9 - 4, including Maths and English, or equivalent, and will need to demonstrate the ability to achieve all elements of the apprenticeship during their programme,

This applies to 16 - 18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over during the first year of their apprenticeship. After this, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Wage for apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.
