What you will do in your working day

  • Answering the phone
  • Processing Invoices
  • Creating relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Monitoring Costs
  • Assisting the Commercial Manager and Financial Controller with accounts and collecting data
  • Arranging meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Liaising with company accountants and carrying out accounting tasks
  • Carrying out general PA tasks to the Directors and managers
  • Applicant must plan, co-ordinate and manage all administrative procedures and systems
  • Applicant must ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company
  • Applicant must purchase new office materials as needed by the office and staff
  • Applicant must identify process bottlenecks
  • Applicant must offer solutions for improvement and look for ways to implement
  • Applicant must monitor office costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
  • Applicant must oversee facilities services and maintenance
  • Applicant will carry out all works associated with the above roles and responsibilities and the by-products of associated works

The training you will be getting

In addition to the apprenticeship, training for the role will be provided to improve the accreditation for the employee. The business always encourages training to help improve the knowledge and ability of staff to help them improve their career. We ask that this effort is replicated from the employee to use their newly qualified knowledge to help improve the business performance.

Training will be done at the business head office in Gateshead, no additional travel will be required.

All training will be conducted and reviewed by the college representative at our office in Gateshead. The apprentice will be able to use the office to help them progress through their works.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Following completion of the apprenticeship, full time employment will be available and progressing through the business would always be encouraged and supported.
