What you will do in your working day

The candidate will be responsible for retrieving, inputting and tracking data while ensuring strict deadlines are met, with support from the wider Procurement and Supply Chain Teams.

You should have the ability to work at a fast pace with high attention to detail ensuring concise and reliable decisions are made. Your willingness and flexibility to adapt with the business should be evident.

The candidate must be motivated and driven and can be perceptive with meeting the right deadlines of an ambitious company.

Duties include:

  • Monitor internal email inboxes and act accordingly.
  • Dealing with a mixture of inbound and outbound calls; retrieving information and re-directing as required
  • Navigating our internal systems, inputting data, and producing reports.
  • Chase and input tickets and other relevant information daily
  • Analytical approach to identify areas of improvement in the current Supply Chain administration systems.
  • Audit new suppliers, ensuring documents are compliant and meet legislation requirements.

The training you will be getting

Training will be at Doncaster College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer.  
Day release.   
You will undertake The Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard.   
You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.  
You will undertake both on and off-the-job training by a team of industry-qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience.

Things to consider

You must be able to travel to and from work and college. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
