What you will do in your working day

  • Help to serve customers and hand out prescriptions 
  • Help with stock ordering and full stock management process 
  • Assist in dispensing process overseen by pharmacist 

The training you will be getting

  • Work to gain Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 NVQ
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if necessary 
  • Online training and pharmacy based ongoing weekly training 
  • Full support from Pharmacy Supervisor and Apprenticeship Team 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Will be qualified as Medicines Counter Assistant
  • Will be qualified as Dispensing Assistant
  • Can work towards Pharmacy Technician Qualification or Pharmacy Supervisor
