What you will do in your working day

  • Answer telephone calls, helping where possible and transfer calls internally
  • Create and update records, keeping the digital filing in order and ensuring that compliance expectations are met on all documentation
  • Assist with customer enquiries
  • To provide quotes for customers that meet their business needs
  • To monitor, track and follow up on any current account to ensure any renewals are processed accordingly
  • Provide a front of house service for all company visitors
  • Maintain the office setup and internal systems
  • Provide administrative support for all staff
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the technological arena
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the external marketing team
  • To use social media platforms to raise the profile of the business to support new business and a broader reach for the brand
  • Draw up client agreements for digital signature

The training you will be getting

  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration 
  • Maths and English functional skills training if necessary (delivered online)
  • Dedicated Juniper skills coach for on-the-job training delivered both online and via face-to-face meetings at a minimum of once per month

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • A full-time position within the business ad an Administrator or a career progression into a sales role

About the employer

GEEX can trace its routes back to a small garage in the West Midlands, nearly 20 years ago, when it first started to provide IT support solutions to local businesses. We now provide IT Support to small/medium businesses and also lease and provide support for IT equipment for Customers all over the UK. We currently employ 12 members of Staff who are split across the Support Team and the Sales Team. The Support Team provide IT Support to our Customers on a daily basis, resolving support tickets and meeting Customer expectations. In addition to that, our Support Team are responsible for the setting up and installation of lease equipment such as Servers, Printers and PCs. The Sales Team are responsible for securing new business and also looking after our existing Customers by Account Management. They have the knowledge to advise new Customers on technology and equipment that will meet their needs.
